Essential aspects of the Spirit-formed community are kerygma (proclaiming the Gospel in its fullness), koinonia (radical fellowship), diakonia (serving the poor and oppressed), and dunamis (supernatural acts by the Spirit). Churches are called to be interdependent, self-propagating, outward-focused communities of Kingdom people comprised at their core of reaidcl disciples covenanted to the Triune God and to each other, who are missional, incarnational and transformational to the surrounding culture. From Romans 12:2 the thesis looks at how the church has embraced the patterns of the world and how the process moves them from those patterns towards Christ and his Kingdom values. Two (Action Research) churches went through the Looking process and developed next steps to begin participating with God in mission.
