A worship team made up of Lakeland members created drama and media-augmentation for a series of sermons preached by the pastor.  The project revealed that drama and media-augmentation inserted into a sermon captured the congregation's attention and increased the congregation's ability to listen to the message. Often unfocused and poorly run, meetings can become an opportunity for ministry by effectively using members' time, energy, and talents by introducing methods of efficiency, developing a mission statement, and providing an atmosphere where faith and mission can be nurtured and understood through Scripture and personal stories. The study presents a definition of theological reflection, a brief history of the theological reflection process and its theoretical framework and several applications in specific programs.  Out of them, fifteen theological reflection instruments are developed for use in a session meeting. The instruments are used and tested in the sessions of five Presbyterian churches of the Presbytery of Philadelphia, Presbyterian Church (USA). The experimental group participated in a five hour training seminar.  Both groups took an objective test. Each member of the groups was evaluated as he or she led a decision-making encounter.  A comparison of the scores of the experimental and control groups was the basis of the project evaluation. Twelve adult leaders participated in a twelve-week program of study and planning.  The primary tools used to evaluate the project were evaluation forms, recognized practitioner, and pastoral observation. Phase two consisted of training the team in principles of small group ministry. The leaders defined the church's mission and composed a purpose statement for Whispering Pines.  The work group identififed the Sudnay School organization as the primary base for ministry.
