The paper defines church growth in terms of the individual and provides a historical and biblical basis for individual involvement in the growth process.  The author concludes that it is not evangelism that leads to church growth, but rather, church growth, as defined in the paper, leads to evangelism. The goals and objectives were designed to be reached within three to five years.  The goals included the establishment of reachable ministry goals, improvement of the Bible teaching program, greater involvement in outreach, and greater love for fellow members.  The congregation was given opportunity, through open forums, to give valuable insight to the planning. The results were approved by the congregation's acceptance of the Guidebook, a new Glorieta plan to improve teacher training and the relocation of the church by 1992.
