This thesis too recounts the political, social, and religious tensions that existed in pre-Revolutionary North Carolina and examines the role that the regulator movement and the Battle of Alamance would play in stifling the evangelistic efforts of the Separate Baptists in the frontier regions of the colony during that period. The goal of this study, which focused on the country of Portugal, was to discover how to make these transitions more viable. In order to achieve this, a qualitative methodology was designed which involved interviewing three individuals from each of five church plants who had observed such a transition over the previous five years. In this dissertation the writer, through the lens of the developing history of the Pentecostal faith, faces the possibility of the American Assemblies of God pulling out its missionaries from Taiwan and considers that situation in light of the lack of enough Taiwanese ministers. The question to be asked is: what should the China Assemblies of God in Taiwan do to continue their evangelical ministry in the 21st century, this era of booming information? The trend of future ministry development for the churches and organizations which belong to the China Assemblies of God is also discussed. The 'church ministry' of the China Assemvlies of God is the primary aim to writer's reasearch. 'Gae chuck sok hui' (planting class meeting) begins with one leader who forms his own class meeting. Touching on etymological, biblical and church theological influences, Hwa Cheon First Church was the subject of research. This is intended to help churches and church members grow through pastoral transformation towards diaconial ministry through listening to a series of sermons and participation in social service activities. The dissertation is made up of a theological part and a pastoral practical part.  In the theological part, I will explore the biblical understanding of diaconia and modern theological understanding. In the practical part, I would like to suggest and practice diaconia ministry by renewing all areas of ministry. A qualitative study was conducted using grounded theory. Interviews with church planting experts, church planters, and an online survey were the primary data sources. The online survey helped triangulate the data and provided a quantitative element to the research. This research found that relational connectedness was critical to people hearing, connecting, and staying in a new church. This thesis examined specific issues dealing with the use of telemental health in pastoral counseling. From this research two conclusions can be drawn. The forty-two Minnesota town and country churches in the study group are technologically ready for telemental health; however, the human aspect of using telemental health is lagging behind the technology.
