Interviews and scaled response statements were employed to assess changes throughout the process. The results indicated that developmentally based performance reviews did generate improved job clarity and aligned staff members with the church vision. However, improved satisfaction with personal development was not supported. Time, space, and money utilization was analyzed against attendance. Research showed that the church closely reflects neighborhood demographics. Most ministry occurs Sunday mornings. Adults receive sixty percent of resources. Through a resident school and community center, the church serves at-risk children and youth. The teen-agers in its own outreach program receive five times the per capita resources spent on its elementary-aged children. The report recommends that more resources be directed to children. Vision is critically important, for where there is no vision, the people do perish. The whole church must welcome new people and be open to new ministerial ideas. Knowing one's congregation and being knowledgeable of community needs are of utmost importance. Category sets of governing policies and elder selection and screening materials were developed. Denominations have primarily offered a consultant and training model, but many, including the Tennessee Baptist Convention, are beginning to recognize the value of a coach approach to serve their constituents.  The project was completed in three phases.  Phase one involved investigating the field of coaching.  The research increased the project director's knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of coaching and how to utilize these to coach teams as well as individuals.  Phase two centered on applying the research to the project director's job as a ministry strategist with the Tennessee Baptist Convention. The project director compiled a manual which was published online for the use of the Ministry Strategist Team.  The final stage involved demonstrating the director's increased skill in the area of coaching. The pastoral epistles of 1-2 Timothy represent a look into what leadership ministry should look like.  This is a specific church situation with actual directions of what is to be done there, and it directly confronts many of the models used today.  This project is an examination of the Timothy material and a survey of a specific denomination as to how that material is seen and used. Ministers in the field and deans of Bible colleges and seminaries were asked to evaluate Paul's instructions to Timothy in their own sphere of ministry. The congregation voted to relocate its entire ministry and this study will document the need for the expansion project. This evaluation will analyze the functionality of the future facility, the number of personnel currently involved in ministries at the church, the financial considerations given to a project of this magnitude, and the time involvement of the volunteer force of Calvary Bible Church. The new facility was intentionally designed to double the present facility's capacity. Our new facility will exceed the present occupancy needs and that the church finances will be seen as a contributing factor in the future ministry of the church. The author used 'The Self-Guided Church Consultant' as a method of study.
