Using grounded theory methodology, the leveled program aimed at providing age-appropriate successive short-term mission trips was studied, along with active students, leaders and host communities. The study was conducted in order to distill key elements transferable to other church bodies. Critical elements that emerged include: age appropriate levels of engagement, training, mentoring, cross-cultural engagement and long-term relationship with host communities. It explored the biblical and theological foundation for inter-generational ministry, and reflected upon current literature. The rationale was shared with the elders and the congregation, and they engaged in several events planned to include multiple-age groups. Their responses to these events and attitudes toward inter-generational ministry were collected through a congregational survey and from feedback from the leaders. This strategy was completed through four main goals: the team explored existing ministry evangelism strategies and outstanding church ministry evangelism practices of First Baptist Church, Bonifay; examined the ministry needs of Holmes County, Florida; created a ministry evangelism strategy; and presented this strategy plan to the church leadership. The project director utilized research in the field of visitation ministry to synthesize essential skills. The project director used the results of this research to develop lesson plans to equip selected members in visitation ministry skills. Selected members were equipped in visitation ministry skills in a workshop setting. This project began with the project director's research and ended with the selected members being equipped. The future work of the group is out of the scope of the project.
