The project leader equipped selected lay leaders of Central Baptist Church, Hillsboro, Texas, to minister with the exigencies stemming from prenatal loss. The participants acquired the skills to effectively minister to parents coping with prenatal loss. This project compares member tabulated results against director evaluations for Iranian adult and Afghan youth disciple groups meeting separately over the course of eight weeks. The project used case studies to plan CareFest, and surveys and interviews to measure congregants' community service involvement and the perceived impact of such ministry on the church and community; event recipients were also interviewed. Post-event data supports that CareFest achieved its aims. The project provides a theological and theoretical foundation with a strategy for planning, implementing, and evaluating the use of sensory stimuli to communicate biblical truths.  The project focuses on a group of participants and their journey as they learned and practiced shared biblical truths using their five senses. This ministry research model will include: a rationale for a mentor-enabled assimilation process; an explanation of how to implement the plan in a local church; a description of the qualifications of mentors and how to enlist and train them; four representative lessons of a twelve-lesson curriculum; and a teaching plan for the mentors for each of the included four lessons. The director researched aspects of postmodernity relating to the church and effective ways of beginning spiritual conversations with people possessing both modern and postmodern worldviews.  The director also discovered spiritual interests of people with varying church experience.  Teaching materials were developed and group members were trained in a compressed training format of six sessions over a four-day period. The project was accomplished in three phases.  The first phase was conducting the research.  The research focused on biblical models of disciple-making, specifically the inner circle model of Jesus.  The research also focused on the processes of mentoring, coaching, and reproducing disciples.  In the second phase, the project director developed a set of lesson plans.  The lesson plans were used in a fast-track training for making disciples using a triad model.  The final phase was the implementation phase.  In this phase the project director trained a selected group of believers to become disciple-makers using the triad model. At the conclusion of the project, the project participants were asked to make a commitment to make disciples using a triad model.
