The Youth Corps (Toronto, Canada) experience was chosen as an existing operational vehicle for the research. As a qualitative study, the bias was lessened by asking predetermined questions to former team members of Youth Corps.  The results demonstrated that the team model is an effective approach to ministry.  It challenges people to work within a meaningful vision, to respond to action, and to an awareness of every person's leadership role. The project involves the recruitment, training and deployment of a small group of senior lay pastoral and sacramental assistants in a suburban Anglican parish.  The author uses phenomenological research methodology, and as participant-observer describes changes in the participants' self-assessed spiritual status, using as data before and after interviews. This project/thesis tested the hypothesis that ministering in an environment of religious pluralism causes the minister's theology to become more inclusive.  Four theological models for understanding religious pluralism were developed.  The models were then used with both a reflection group and a survey to test the hypothesis in the context of the Navy Chaplain Corps.  The data suggests that the hypothesis is often true. A survey was devised whereby information was gathered from the parish concerning what strengthens or weakens faith.  The survey responses were analyzed and collated.  Significant areas were identified and a ten-week project was devised around the most pertinent aspects of faith building.  The project was named 'Soaring To New Heights.'
