Children afflicted with leprosy were alienated and had an especially hard time adjusting to society.  These children are physically normal but are social outcasts because of such problems as family background, living environment, educational situation, social restrictions, and psychological conflicts or anxieties.  The purpose of this project is to produce a unique educational program for children of leprosy victims in the Yosu Aeyangwon area in Korea. The project tests and evaluates this hypothesis with a sample of six children (3 girls/3 boys) and their pastor.  The project has the pastor meeting with the children in two sessions and using developmentally appropriate materials.  Curriculum includes drawing, Bible story-telling, artistic interaction, use of published literature, and a personal interview with each child participant. A review of literature and the development of a theological rationale was undertaken to determine the effects of divorce on children and how some support groups have been utilized.  The model developed by Rainbows for All God's Children, Inc. was implemented and evaluated. The goals were: educate the congregation about faith development, and develop and adopt a ministry affirming childhood preconversions.  The pretest/posttest method measured the educational effectiveness of a preaching and teaching series.  The committee process developed and proposed for adoption a preconversion ministry.  Interviews with committee members provided subjective analysis of the entire project.  The goals were accomplished. Six students attended the Christian Day School operated by the church, and six students attended public school and Sunday school at Immanuel Lutheran Church.  There were three groups, with an equal number of boys and girls, in each group representing first, fourth, fifth, and seventh grades.  To investigate their God images, the students were interviewed, using the interview utilized by David Heller. The approach was an enhancement of Holland's and Henriot's 'pastoral circle.' The structure of the approach is informed by cases of abusive children.  Two case studies are offered with reflection on the approach developed and abusive children themselves.  Results showed the approach to be positive especially in combining input from theology and social sciences.  The children were noted to be unrealistic in their assessment of their relationships with other family members.
