The paper includes a report and analysis of a workshop organized and led by the author and Gretchen Helm, EdD.  The workshop provides insights taken from an experience of reactions to the issues raised by the sexual abuse of female children.  Because the paper deals exclusively with counseling female survivors the biblical and theological perspectives are weighted toward the feminist perspective. This project describes the process used to compile a handbook for local church pastors with specific focus on white 'Old Yankee' Protestant women over the age of seventy-five. Methodology included a survey of AAPC training centers and ten process-oriented sessions based on representative feminist theorists.  The central learning activity was genogram groups in which participants' shared family of origin experiences of women's issues.
