Though born into a world that held tightly to race segregation, Seymour's ministry gave a glimpse of heaven where people of 'every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation' forever worship God together (Revelation 5:9). And though Seymour's childhood included Hoodoo cult influences, he grew into a man who sought only the power and glory of God most high.
