This project states that new forms of thought are needed to move away from this dualism.  It proposes a form which, in general, may be called 'art' and, in particular, may be considered 'story'. Part of the thesis is written in an expository linear form and part in a circular story form. This project tests the presence of nine ministry models or role-sets in the Conference through a random survey of senior pastors, laity, Bethel Seminary faculty, national and district leaders.
