This was continued through two additional programs funded for 4th grade students and physically and mentally challenged adults. This ministry has grown to encompass ecological and economic resource projects that take place at the Agricultural Experimental Station, University of the District of Columbia, Muirkirk Research Farm, Beltsville, Md. The 2007 project had two components: (1) A study of the Amaranth plant (Pigweed) for a possible 'niche' market; and (2) The study and removal of invasive species with the protection and restoration of native species.
