The biblical education should go beyond the old and narrow scope focused to moral aspects of youths. This thesis also presents historical background and method of bibliodrama, and how it influences church Bible study and church activities. Each monologue connects a person with a crucial issue in Baptist history: John Smyth (believers' baptism); Thomas Helwys (religious liberty); John Leland (church-state separation); William Carey (missions); William Bullein Johnson (priesthood of all believers). 'From the garden to the crib' portrayed some significant events of salvation history from Adam and Eve to the nativity.  A questionnaire was administered before and after the pageant to the cast, a sampling of the audience and a religious education class of eighth graders.
