The instrument was designed and field-tested with five UTS instructors during the 1999 spring and fall semesters, involving six student video projects. Results of the model were examined via personal interviews. Pre- and post-seminary questionnaires were used to measure increases in conceptual understanding as a result of the seminar.  T-tests were applied.  A post-seminar questionnaire was used to measure perceived commitment increase.  These questionnaires were also evaluated to calculate percentage increases in self-awareness and perceived behavioral changes.  Didactic educational method was shown to enable both conceptual and attitudinal change in a statistically significant way. The speaking abilities of these individuals were tested by means of the Bryan-Wilke Scale for Rating Public Speeches before and after their exposure to the weekly training sessions. The student's own community composes the new environment. Five lessons and post-tests demonstrate the method.  Evaluation included student responses a week after and parental response eighteen months later. The first part includes a mission statement incorporating the perceived distinctive characteristics. The second part of the document is a preliminary self-study report of God's Bible School.  The school was evaluated by the standards of the American Association of Bible Colleges. Five guidelines comprise the primary criteria. They are: 1. does the course provide helpful tools for meta-communication; 2. does the course provide opportunity for interaction, lead to engagement, and allow for transformation; 3. does the course enable and encourage hope; 4. is the course synergistic; and 5. does the course provide for the building of trust sufficient to meet the level of threat to be experienced by participants.
