The project report addresses causes of misunderstandings between churches and pastors toward academia in the historic, multi-ethnic, socio-economic, and cultural context of Moldova.  The project involved participation by a select group of Russian-speaking students at CTE in seminars where these problems were identified and analyzed. Historical, religious, sociological and ecclesial contexts are described. The qualitative methodology includes a survey, transcribed interviews and a focus study group that engages Robert Webber's worship perspectives from Ancient-Future Faith: Rethinking Evangelicalism for a Postmodern World.
