The eight-week study sought to empower students with an understanding of what being a disciple means and having an ability to implement the practices of disciples. At the conclusion of the workshop, students were equipped to begin meeting with two or three students, training them to be disciple-making disciples. The need for this training was significant due to an apparent void of university students who are disciple-making disciples. These seven words which start with the letter 'c' represent seven biblical elements of evangelism. This project produced lessons for a particular congregation so they could learn and practice personal evangelism according to these seven biblical elements of evangelism. This report explored the biblical foundations and the theological reflections of these seven biblical elements and formulated them into a ten-lesson course. A pre-teaching survey of the knowledge of the students about these elements and a similar post-teachng survey served as the guidelines for the course design as well as the basis for the evaluation of the teaching. Through multiple interviews at sites in Oregon and Washington, the author discovered that welcoming newcomers requires the church to adopt a missional mindset that serves the community. Congregants individually serve where the community sees a need and build relationships that provide a basis for introducing friends to Jesus. Father Judge promoted a particular spirituality to support his missionary movement. He centered that spirituality on a 'devotional knowledge' of the major mysteries of the faith, particularly devotion to the Trinity. This study creates a dialogue between the charism of Father Judge and the work of contemporary theology. Theological developments are shown to supplement and support the founding insight of the Cenacle charism. The problem that the project addresses is the challenge of introducing and using media in the life and ministry of all churches, regardless of the demographics of the congregation in relation to size, age or even financial status. The objective of the project is to show media as a means of grace to be used in the life of all churches, to give examples of its use, and to make the medium holy. When the technology of media is introduced (prevenience), explained and exemplified (justification), enabling all persons to find value in its use to proclaim the gospel, making it holy in the eyes of the local congregation (sanctification), another means of grace is recognized in the 21st century church's mission efforts. A focus group and surveys were used to help gain the necessary research. This project examines one of the ways to increase effectiveness in church planting through the development and execution of a church-based church planting residency program. It examines the assessment, training, and support provided to church planters through case studies of two different types of church planting residency programs. These case studies outline the assessment and recruitment strategies, and then examines their training and equipping models. Finally, it describes how these planters are supported after completing their residency. The goal of this study is to assist Ambassador Church in developing a church-based church planting residency program. The thesis of the project was that members at Longview Point were trained to share their faith using a canned presentation but were not confident in answering objections. They needed a foundation in apologetics to engage people in prolonged spiritual conversations.
