The student worked in an inner-city church for two years during which three faith-sharing groups were established.  Through repeated development of such groups, this method proved to be very effective in communicating the essentials of the gospel.  Such a method of outreach must be conducted by a local congregation whose priority to evangelism is motivated by the evangel itself. For the Episcopal Church with a catholic heritage, this presents the opportunity for evangelism in proclamation, catechesis and worship.  One form of proclamation is the evangelistic call.  The project consisted of reporting on evangelistic calls that were unstructured and person-centered. The author determined through research that servant evangelism has both a biblical and theological foundation. After studying how a pastor can lead his church to an outward focus, the author enlisted volunteers to participate in servant evangelism projects. Three social science research techniques were used to measure the effectiveness of the project. These included a questionnaire in pretest/posttest format, interviews, and focus groups. Over one hundred students will travel to Henderson, Nevada, to attend a meeting at Highland Hills Baptist Church called 'Frontliners' as their summer mission trip. The students will be taught eight lessons entitles 'Engage Your World.' The strategy of the study will be to give the students a foundation of the fundamentals of the gospel that will enable them to share their faith with other world religions and cults. The students will be taught a brief history and some of the major beliefs of a select group of religions and cults that will enable them to recognize who they are encountering and how to share with them. An Evangelism Plan was designed to increase the membership at Missionary Temple C. M. E. Church, Detroit, MI.  Quantitative research methods analyzed ministry styles of successful pastors with growing churches and qualitative methods took the form of interviews with members, which tailored growth strategies.  The Evangelism plan was developed but not implemented. The model developed includes training for two hours in relational evangelism for all new members joining Aloma United Methodist Church during a three and a half year period. Also included in the model is a month long evangelism event called 'One by One' that consists of praying for one's unchurched friends and giving an invitation to the church-held event.  This 'One by One' event was a seeker friendly worship (such as an Easter drama/musical or Sunday morning worship) that occurred once a quarter.  Five significant findings emerged from the questionnaires and interviews. First, it is possible to build a self-replicating cycle of visitors through new members once they are trained and are motivated to reach their unchurched friends.  Second, the relational evangelism training model helps new members to evangelize their unchurched friends.  Third, there are significant impediments to faith sharing, such as the fear of rejection and the belief that evangelism is the responsibility of professionals.  Fourth, new members can reach their friends for Jesus.
