A goal of 1.4 million dollars was established.  Two years were allotted to involve as many as possible of Canda's 300 churches and her 50,000 constituents.  The funds would build a church to seat 1,000 people and a Christian education unit.  All remaining funds would be used for on-going evangelistic programs.  This thesis explains the method of fund raising used and serves to model similar future endeavors.  We received 1.1 million dollars towards our goal. Sacramental giving grasps the promise of life through Jesus Christ, obeys the dominical imperative to lay down one's life for the sake of others, signs the promise of God in Christ to the giver, to the receiver of the gift, or to others, and brings strength, joy and blessing to the giver.  The task of the Christian fund raiser is to nurture such giving.  That is accomplished by approaching the fund raising task with a biblical theology of humankind and the church.
