The method involved a sermon series on spiritual gifts, a course on spiritual gift identification, individual consultations with the pastor, and placement in ministry opportunities.  The project resulted in more members serving in ministry.  A lay ministry of Congregational Care was implemented.  The Nominating Committee adopted an improved method of matching members with ministry opportunities.  Twenty people went on a mission trip to Puerto Rico. In this project the participants identified a population segment whom they sought to reach through high quality ministries. They examined the mission of the church and organized its ministries around its purposes.  They identified their own spiritual gifts and discovered ways for using gifts to facilitate quality in ministry.  The participants surveyed the ministries, and facilities of their church for areas in need of quality improvements, and developed a plan for making necessary upgrades. Nine elders spent four months studying Bible passages related to spiritual gifts. This study will seek to provide a biblical framework of spiritual gifts and to suggest a simple spiritual gifts and personality test to Chinese church leaders so that they can help Chinese Christians in North America, whether Overseas-Born or American-Born, to focus their thoughts on their uniquenesses in God instead of on their differences. The end result is to enhance his self-esteem and sense of belonging and personal satisfaction by glorifying God and edifying others. A believer will achieve this goal by making his unique contribution to the body of Christ with his passion (serving in a ministry for which he has enthusiasm and emotional energy), spiritual gifts (performing functions which use his particular giftedness), and personal style (functioning relationally in a role that energizes the volunteer rather than drains him emotionally).  The end result is to enhance his self-esteem and sense of belonging and personal satisfaction by glorifying God and edifying others and then the people in the church will experience unity, service, and
