purpose of this project was to develop an equipping ministry system that enabled the discovery of the needs, gifts and talents of eighteen people at High Park Baptist Church in Toronto, leading each person to function in the gift that the Holy Spirit has granted.  This purpose was achieved by developing three key phases of: preparation, connecting and equipping. Research methodology consisted of quantitative and qualitative measures used sequentially to study existing and post-intervention Christian character levels. Through focus on self-awareness and gift-awareness, statistically significant change occurred. The project began with a questionnaire concerning spiritual gifts and one's purpose in the church. Next, a three part sermon series on spiritual gifts was used to educate and inspire members to participate in the seminar. During the seminar, students took inventories to discover their spiritual gifts, passions, personality, and temperament types and completed a ministry resume form.
