The project determined the best practices for organizational growth and equipped Sunday school leaders with growth skills. It was based on the writings of Gerkin, McDargh, Crossan, and Malan.  The thrust of the theory was the formation of a context out of which idolatrous myths could be identified, examined, and addressed in the therapeutic relationship to discern the consequences that might exist between those idolatrous myths and the problems in the life of the client.  A case study was the second part of the project.  The problems the client brought to the therapy were reality-tested within the working theory base and traced to their sources in the family of origin. The goal was to foster personal growth in seminarians as they prepared for pastoral ministry.  In the project, the first division documents how this experiment in personal growth was carried out.  Section A carefully outlines the methodology used and describes in detail the composition of the class of students.  Section B reveals how tensions arose in the group which ultimately forced modifications to the course. Section C highlights the innovations used to foster further fellowship and growth.  Section D explains and gives the results of the various testing used to discern growth in the students.  These tests indicated clearly that the students did grow academically, professionally, and personally as a result of the project.
