This is needed to (a) develop people's gifts and talents for service unto God, (b) better equip members in the church for leadership roles and (c) make sure that each member has equal opportunity to use his or her gift to the glory of God. For any change to happen, as well as for any possible solutions, leaders of Haitian churches will need to be educated. The research was conducted using grounded theory. The results showed the church must become more open to accepting the culture of the second generation. Inclusion is the key to retaining the second generation. Teachers must be equipped to teach Bible studies to Haitian church members in Creole, French, and English.  The project director designed a project that would help Haitian teachers integrate each language according to their specific roles in the church setting.
