Eight African American women attended two health workshops and studied daily with the Fruit of the Spirit devotional guide over a three-week period.  The participants complete pre- and post-workshop questionnaires to determine any changes in their health and spiritual views after completing the program. The knowledge of medical and spiritual health of the women increased after the program.
