In seeking an entire congregational response to one particular devotional, I hope to develop patterns and habits of daily devotions and therefore, motivate more of the congregation to seek spiritual nurture through daily devotions once the seasons outlined in this devotion are completed.  This devotion is a thematic, word study devotional.  We explore one topic or theme for each week examining the many ways a particular word or word group is used in the Old and New Testaments. Thanksgiving Day is selected as the model.
