The author researched how study of the missional ecosystem helped to move a congregation beyond a limited benevolence outreach to an effective ministry with special focus on ministry to the adolescent. This missional conversation is framed within the larger missio-ecclesiological theology. God's mission to the world can only be understood through the incarnate Word of God. Incarnation is presented as the model for fulfilling God's purpose in the world. Incarnational witness was defined as a demonstration of the person and power of Jesus Christ through the personalities, actions, and words of believers in the context of the felt and real needs of unbelievers. Project participants identified needs in the community through demographic analysis, generalized characteristics, and personal interviews with community members. As a result of this study participants crafted a needs-based and resource-related strategy. This strategy was refined by dialogue with the church body. The refined strategy was adopted by the church for immediate implementation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b2ad2862-737d-4dde-8145-b9b6962ac5f3"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132391452966912,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:02:39.012Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:39:03Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:19:22Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"591d1679-708c-47e8-b39f-8c223468d5a4","accessControl_ssim":["854a9010-874b-4d8f-95b2-03656760f773"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The incarnation in missiological education: some proposals for an Australian curriculum"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-11T21:39:02Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:44:48Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["a102b9df-35b0-4796-bd92-ebe9c64baf1a"],"hasLease_ssim":["8f587ca3-69ae-4f77-82ae-3e0113614d3f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Orlando E Costas"],"year_tesim":["1983"],"location_tesim":["Australia"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["James Richard Kime"],"publisher_tesim":["Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Education--Curricula","Theological seminaries","Incarnation","Bible--Criticism, interpretation","Baptists--Missions","Jesus Christ","Missions"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Missiological reflection on the incarnation of Jesus implies an incarnational-servant approach to mission.
