The Korean church needs new pastoral care and methods for elderly parishioners. The author insisted that the serious problems of aging must be solved in a family. For the project he selected six families whose grown-up children lived away from parents. Participants took some educational programs and the author sent pictures and video clips of them to their children by email. The setting was Oak Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Seven theme sermons on the attributes of God were provided to provide a spiritual foundation for the church family. Seven African style intergenerational Bible studies were created to facilitate the healing, sustaining, guiding, and reconciling of Jesus within the church family. The research was conducted using grounded theory. The results showed the church must become more open to accepting the culture of the second generation. Inclusion is the key to retaining the second generation. For the children and youth there were Sunday school classes, seminars, Muslim guests, and a children's sermon on symbols of Islam, Judaism, and Christianity. Adults learned through classes, panel discussions, seminars, book groups and guests.  All ages studied the basic tenets of Islam. Similarities and dissimilarities between Islam and Christianity were explored.
