Two professional goals assisted the project director to create the social media strategy. First, the project directer increased his knowledge of the unreached and unengaged peoples in the cluster. Second, the project director increased his social media technology skills. A small group of missionaries from the Arabian Peninsula \u0026 Levant Cluster gave assistance to the project director in formulating the strategy. The project director then presented the strategy to the Cluster Strategy Leader. The project engaged fourteen members in a one-on-one, seamless electronic mentoring relationship with a mentor. The leaders then mentored other church members through the mentorship model. The project demonstrated that one-on-one mentoring relationship using electronic means is an effective way to create learning which leads to the knowledge and practice of the spiritual disciplines. Many ministries have wholeheartedly embraced Internet technology through websites, blogs, live chats and a myriad of other applications. While thoughtful people have offered biblical perspective both endorsing and warning against this trend, there continues to be much need to carefully think about how new technologies can come alongside various aspects of ministry in a way that maximizes their benefits and minimizes their inherent dangers. This project explores how the Internet can enhance the impact of a preaching ministry by providing a forum to discuss the content of a sermon after it has been delivered. The author tested six different methods of creating clergy groups, searching for the most effective and simple to set up. Ideally, an in-person group brings the best results for accountability; however, online groups have much to offer in the relief of isolation. The new component included materials to support parents of autistic and other special needs children in their spiritual lives. The blog reached a broader population than anticipated and its work focused on the themes of hospitality, parenting and children's spiritual development.
