Jesus summed up these as the two most important commands. The purpose of this project was three-fold: to explore how people understood what it means to practice loving God and others to determine the impact this has on their spiritual growth; to determine if Christians demonstrate a holistic approach to loving God, or instead have a primary or choose a preferred method to loving and drawing close to God; and last, to work with individuals and small groups of Christians to recognize the import and centrality of the commands. The project occurred in seven stages. A comparison of the information gathered from the focus-group research to the post-training survey indicated the success of the project. Nonetheless a finding emerged revealing that in general participants did not understand and pr actice loving God and loving others in the manner prescribed and exhorted throughout Scripture. Once participants recognized this lack and understood the methods available, they enthusiastically listed specific ways and means for improvement."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["c654e922-76d0-4427-ac29-e286b7997781"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799715028682670080,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T01:39:59.705Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:37:26Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:31:50Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"fa347e30-b595-46fc-89f4-616cc92c7d7c","accessControl_ssim":["f99e42ce-d4ac-442f-9801-fba7f2b81d21"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Emotional intelligence and its impact on managing relationships: a study for Greater Europe's Mission leadership team in personal and professional spheres"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:37:25Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:16:42Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["99f0f6b3-8946-4634-96a3-ab7a896642ac"],"hasLease_ssim":["2c6dbf0c-a5ae-49f0-a5ff-6ec9f84b19c3"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Hans Finzel"],"year_tesim":["2014"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Henry L Deneen"],"publisher_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Faith development","Emotional intelligence","Greater Europe Mission","Interpersonal relations"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Emotional intelligence (EI) is a soft skill often overlooked but critically important. Secondly, leaders need to be trained for self-differentiation and forgiving others in order to build healthy relationships.
