A qualitative study was conducted using grounded theory. Interviews with church planting experts, church planters, and an online survey were the primary data sources. The online survey helped triangulate the data and provided a quantitative element to the research. This research found that relational connectedness was critical to people hearing, connecting, and staying in a new church. Theological study evaluated team relationships in the Bible. Literature review covered pastoral staffing issues in the contemporary church, focusing on partnering factors. Case studies at applicable churches involved surveys and in-person interviews of the pastors. The focus of the project was for participants to learn how to incorporate transparency into their daily lives through various teachings, practicing accountability, communicating true feelings, developing a deeper intimacy with God, and experiencing formational prayer. The author assessed the goals by using a rating scale. Data indicated that transparency was impacted significantly. The premise was that such personal conflicts can lead to emotional wounds, yet they are often met with silence and denial. A panel of experts evaluated the resource on a Likert agreement scale questionnaire. The two most prominent findings were that the resource teaches women to restore peaceful fellowship and reinforces the Christian love ethic. The purpose of the project was to assess the value of using a covenant to enhance the relationships between these pastors in Chinese churches in the San Francisco Bay Area. Data collected by survey, personal interviews, and and interactive seminar showed an overall positive opinion about the use of a covenant between the pastors. Participants were guided through a process of learning to develop skills for listening to God, self and others. Listening to God is based on prayer in the style taught by Father Thomas Keating. Guided spiritual autobiography is used to help members better listen to one's own life experiences and one another's. Participants are taught basic empathic listening skills and encouraged to show God's love to others, developing Godbearing within group members. The Godbearing concept is based upon Elaine Robinson's book of the same name. The process develops Godbearing as a model for listening-based evangelism. It focuses on the diversity of others and forming genuine relationships. It is not one of conversion, but listening to what God is already doing in the faith life of the person. Participants took a mission trip to visit a rural church school in Haiti and were then interviewed about their experience. Family systems theory and the theology of service and relationships informed the project and the interpretation of the outcomes. New, lasting interpersonal bonds among the travelers were evident, as were strengthened ties to the sister institutions. This project used fourteen postmodern people in four critical events to expose them to biblical conflict reconciliation ministry. The following themes were used: relationships, communication, conflict, and reconciliation. The participants were interviewed and tested using a variety of research tools.
