This project proposes that the church has to become a reconciler in the context of continued struggles and conflicts, recovering leadership in the community by showing a new image of the church that is pursuing reconciliation.  The project reflects on the past and present of Korean immigrant churches in southern California and discusses the need to change their role in the future. This project interviews more than 100 pastors and elderly persons, pointing to urgent needs for ministry, and it also analyzes typical examples of ministry in New York and New Jersey.
