Therefore, Kingdom evangelism ultimately seeks a revolution in ecclesiology.  Not the church in and for itself but the church in and for the world is at stake in Kingdom evangelism. Hierarchical church structures have to be reduced in the Korean migrant church.  Chapter one discusses immigration and Korean migrants in Australia. Chapter two compares the Uniting Church in Australia and the Korean Church in Korea.  Chapter three presents a servant church model.  Chapter four describes the structure and future plans of the Korean migrant church. Data were gathered through a written questionnaire.  A graphic comparison method and other complementary instruments were adopted in terms of a discrepancy model.  Among ten subject-matter areas, the results show the area of biblical knowledge as most in need of continuing education.  This is followed by evangelism-church growth and biblical-historical-systematic theology. Seventh-day Adventist heritage and pastoral care place adequately in the middle range.  Church administration placed higher than church history-comparative religion and biblical languages. Pastors with graduate education gave evidence of greater doctrinal-biblical knowledge and a small advantage in ministerial skills.  Motivations and deterrents in regard to continuing education are listed. In this study, the background of Korean immigration to Austrlia is discussed and the characteristics of Korean immigrants are discovered.  A specific research into the Korean community in the Brisbane metropolitan area is carried out identifying their basic problems and pressing needs.  In order to minister effectively, a theology of immigration is formulated and strategies are developed along the lines of the 'Sa-rang Bang' movement for self-actualization, the 'Chi-geh Koon' model of burden sharing and bilingual/bicultural ministry. To help church members fulfill their Christian ministry a training program was developed covering the following resources: 1) needs of recent immigrant Koreans; 2) principles of pastoral care; 3) skills of pastoral care.  At the conclusion, lay-shepherds had taken responsibility for one another with skills and perspectives of pastoral care and expressed growth in personality and spirituality.
