The project's methodology includes a study of pivotal church documents such as those from Vatican II, Medellin and Puebla.  The author concludes that the Roman Catholic branch of Latin American liberation theology is an expression of Catholic social thought.  In addition this theology is a new movement which grows out of a specific Latin American context. Research consists of: a) a practicum of four sermons and written and oral evaluations of the sermons by ten congregants and three professors; b) an analysis of the feedback.  It concludes that narrative preaching is a style which can be very helpful in facilitating the reception and understanding of prophetic preaching.
