Biblical, theological and personal definitions of salvation provide a faith basis with which the author relates the perspectives and methods of Transactional Analysis and gestalt therapy, in particular.  A processive, rather than a static, view of salvation provides the basic theological perspective for relating pastoral counseling and salvation.  James E Loder's four-dimensional model by which he explored the dynamics of convictional experiences is criticized and expanded by process theology's perspective.  An adapted Loderian model then provides a four-dimensional structure through which the author analyzes four case studies of psychotherapy processes and dynamics.
