Twelve participants were selected from the South English Street Church of Christ (Greensboro, North Carolina). It met for eight weeks reading and discussing material dealing with racism, Black rage, Christian spirituality, leadership, the Black church, and White Christianity.  The group experienced increased understanding of the spiritual and social ills afflicting Black men.  The participants felt closer to one another and spiritually stronger.
