A men's ministry dinner, ten three-hour equipping sessions, and a four-day retreat were utilized.  Sessions included small and large group discussions, as well as instruction.  The objectives consisted of helping the participants to grow as disciples of Christ, recognizing their calling and value in discipleship ministry, and to engage them in a discipleship relationship with another man. As goes the man, so goes the family, church, and nation. The problem of men remaining disengaged from the gospel has ramifications for men and Christ's church. This project recaptures a biblical view of masculinity. An overview and assessment of the effectiveness of several ministries is given. Men's ministry initiatives of the Presbyterian Church in America are presented with the purpose of developing life-transforming discipleship of men within local churches. Current models, however, have been deficient in teaching the basics of spiritual warfare based solely on biblical principles. This project, therefore, developed lectures on three basic biblical principles of spiritual warfare, taught accompanying lessons, and evaluated learning outcomes to identify if men were conditioned for battle-ready leadership. The research plan included one goal with four objectives. Journal assignments provided the majority of affective data to measure if and how goal accomplishment was achieved. The process describes the journey to spiritual maturity following the model of human development from infancy to adulthood. Tremendous spiritual potential exists within many congregations in the lives of older saints to help others develop spiritually. Obstacles must be overcome to link older and younger men and thereby promote spiritual fathering. A call to action necessitates that the church provide a pathway and an ongoing process for men to become servant-leaders.  The project results were limited, due to a decline in the number of men who completed the project versus those who began the project, but yet encouraging.  Project participants were invited to discover the theology, concepts, and characteristics of servant leadership.  Participants experienced Jesus Christ as the ultimate model of servant leadership and were encouraged to follow His example in daily life, especially the church.  The results revealed that becoming a servant-leader must be an intentional process. A likert scale assessment tool was used to measure the group experience impact on the areas of spiritual, emotional, mental, volitional, behavioral, and relational well-being. The most prominent finding was increased spiritual wholeness through inner healing prayer which positively impacted their spiritual well-being. My project brought together six men in ten weekly sessions to train them in and practice of spiritually reading the Bible. Pre- and post-seminar questionnaires of both participants and their wives are used to measure retention and practice of how to build a Trinitarian understanding of the marriage relationship.
