The project uses semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and participatory group observation to collect data on change in clergy participants' leadership of missional growth before and after implementation of skills derived from the practice of midwifery.  The data collected measures change in discernment ability and effectiveness in advancing mission. It also describes the current literature about Millennials from a sociological perspective. There is also a conversation about mission and missional church as it relates to the Millennials. The work shares stories of current mission and missional efforts of Highland Presbyterian Church and interviews with Millennials who are involved in the missional movement. Understanding the practices, motivations, and challenges millennials face will help the church emphasize mission. This research required millennial participants who could communicate in depth about their practices, motivations, and challenges in mission. Therefore, the study sample consisted of millennials in the church who are actively and regularly involved in both gospel declaration and demonstration. The design of the project included three sections to identify the demographics of the participants; a five-point Ligert scale to capture the attitudes of the participants on the subject matter; and an evaluation of the study.     The results of this study revealed that the participants that a ministry to the incarcerated. The project included the administration of a survey to all appointed pastors-in-charge in the NCC. Esta tesis buscó las causales de una iglesia en mantención, tales como, problema de mentalidad, de falta de visión, de liderazgo, de resistencia al cambio, etc. Investiga además el tema de la personalidad en el ministerio de un pastor. The author first examined the Missio Dei from a biblical and confessional perspective and then researched the confessional boundaries for the establishment of a Lutheran mission society in Michigan. The author conducted a series of interviews with several mission congregations planted since 2006. Comparing current mission models with the researched boundaries for Lutheran mission resulted in the discovery of a divergence between theology and practice. The third article framework was used to clarify a genuinely Lutheran understanding of mission amid postmodern times, wherein Gospel proclamation and vocation were identified as integral to that mission. The author studies this in the local congregation by examining the implementation of a third article shaped congregational strategic plan (mission, vision, and strategy) and its impact on the formal organization and leadership structure of a congregation. The project director researched pertinent skills needed for effective cross-cultural mission work in order to prepare FBCG members for efficient service. Furthermore, this project led to the development of a curriculum that will be used to train and equip select FBCG members in cross-cultural mission skills. The project director's equipping of members is key for stronger impact and success in FBCG short-term mission trips. In addition to equipping FBCG members, the project director sought to accomplish two professional goals. The first goal was to increase the project director's knowledge of cross-cultural mission skills. The attainment of this goal guided the director in equipping individuals for more efficient cross-cultural service.
