The topic will be approached by integrating anthropology, missiology, and theology. The book of Acts provides the theological foundation. Anthropological insights evolved in Christian ministry to influence two of the foremost Christian authors on spiritual warfare, Peter Wagner and Charles Kraft. It will also aid in the development of a plan for protecting Christians from Mormon missionaries who come claiming to be part of another Christian denomination.  The project concludes that Mormonism is not Christian, based on a clear study of their history, doctrine, and methods. Part of the reason for this is that evangelists trying to reach this group have not taken the time to discover much about the religious context of these young people.  The purpose of this book is to inform Westerners and Russians trained by Westerners regarding the spiritual experiences described by young Russian converts within their churches and organizations.  The book presents the central religious beliefs, understanding, attitudes and behaviors that formed the background of the young Russians prior to hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  In addition, it allows young Russians to describe their own experiences of the evangelistic process and to explain their experience of conversion as they understand it. Two Southern Baptist churches recently gained new awareness of how to penetrate subcultures around them.  A five-session series introduced both laity and clergy to demographics, group identity concepts, focus community profiles, spiritual gifts, core church competencies, and interviews with experienced community penetration practitioners. Participants' reactions and churches' interest in such training varied widely.  Some feel that tracking trends to adjust outreach is a novel but needless exercise. An African reading of Exodus was explored and engaged.
