This study is part of their journey. By contrast, this thesis, based on the experience of 'real world' evangelization and on the premise that true Christian mission methods and outcomes are ultimately 'spiritually discerned,' examines the influence of a missions strategy consisting not of 'scientifically' determined mission 'methods,' but the integration of five simple, New Testament-based 'core values' which manifest in the attitudes, experiences and tangible results of Iris Global's ministry, primarily in Mozambique, Africa. District and church missions mobilizers were surveyed as to the motivations, methods, and obstacles for mobilizing people to the mission field. The participants were also surveyed as to their perspectives on the future of missions in The Alliance. It was clear from the data that missions mobilization within The Alliance is a joint effort between churches, districts, and International Ministries of the C\u0026MA. The diminishing zeal and the passion of the Salesian missionaries prompt me to ask the question 'can the Salesians be more spiritual and sensitive to the Nyishis and their tribal culture so as to incarnate Don Bosco's spirituality and charism in the communities they minister?' Site visits were made to four nationally recognized United Methodist urban ministries that engage in partnered ministry initiatives.  Insights gained from these visits were applied to the development and implementation of an asset based partnered ministry model for the United Methodist Church Union. For effective mission in the rural context, the author researched theological foundations -- Contextulaization and Konvivenz mission theology -- to support No-ri mission. Based on those two theological factors, the author approached the people in the rural community with Samul No-ri as a representative of Korean traditional culture, because of the familiarity of Samul No-ri in the context. How could a congregation move from benevolent benefactor toward missional accompaniment? Surveys and an interview measured the impact of three interventions, Bible study, testimony, and prayer. Theological and Biblical perspectives included missional ecclesiology, accompaniment, spiritual practices, and liberation theology. Theoretical perspectives included post-colonial theory, change theory, and cross-cultural communication.
