The purpose of it was to test to what extent interculturality is vital and essential to the Dehonian charism, and how it can be effectively implemented within Priests of the Sacred Heart initial formation in the United States. Because this project deals with experience, culture, and tradition, the author has decided to employ the method of practical theology of James and Evelyn Whitehead.  The Whiteheads’ method encourages reflection upon these three elements of life, experience, culture, and tradition, and brings them into correlation to the moment of implementation. The result of this profound reflection and discernment emerges in a pastoral response. The project director sought to address the growing organization's need for greater stakeholder engagement through the development of a comprehensive mobilization strategy. During the first phase of the project, the project director examined literature in the fields of mobilization and strategy development to determine best practices. He then conducted an internal audit to assess the existing mobilization processes of Nehemiah Teams. During the third phase of the project, the project director developed a mobilization strategy for Nehemiah Teams, with the intent of the strategy to guide Nehemiah Teams' organizational mobilization initiatives. Over a four-month period just prior to launch of the secondsite, the church dealt with a leadership and financial crisis brought on by a drop inattendance. These changes necessitated putting multisite on hold and refocusingenergies on discipleship and mission.The original research question proposed the use of an Appreciative Inquirymodel intended to help the congregation deal with the emotional and social shiftsto become one church with two locations. Facing new circumstances, theAppreciative Inquiry model was modified to help the church deal with theemotional and social concerns they had around the dramatic change in theirattendance and vision for multisite. The conclusion reached in the study conformed the intervention increased the participant's attitude (feelings) towards God's mission in the workplace. John","System theory"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This Doctor of Ministry Project explored new opportunities for interorganizational collaboration within a specific network of ministry partners around the globe.  It focused on multiethnic teams and organizations that have been birthed, in part, out of the ministry of Leadership Resources International (LRI), a pastoral training organization headquartered in Illinois.    The purpose of this project was to carefully gather and clearly understand perspectives from multiethnic leaders of these various teams and organizations around the world in order help LRI wisely navigate interorganizational collaboration.In preparation for the field work, the author researched biblical, theological, historical, missiological and theoretical perspectives involved with worldwide, evangelical, multiethnic, interorganizational collaboration.  The methodology of the project followed the Appreciative Inquiry approach to qualitative, action research in order to carefully facilitate gathering wisdom from these leaders. Extended, semi-structured interviews were conducted with twenty leaders on eight leadership teams from eight separate countries.  The transcribed recordings of the interviews were coded and analyzed.  Findings and proposals were formulated for LRI leadership and recommendations presented for a wider audience.  The project found that damaging attitudes that accompany power-differentials pose the greatest challenge to effective interorganizational collaboration for this network.  It also found that multifaceted wisdom and humility would have the greatest potential for combating that challenge and should permeate all interorganizational initiatives. Of particular interest to the emerging missions candidates from China are Muslim peoples spread throughout the countries aligned with the emerging Belt Road Initiative.A review of international marketplace ministry and business as mission practices was undertaken. The project research focuses on a sample of existing Chinese-led Business as Mission enterprises. Interviews were conducted with ten different Chinese executives or owners, located in seven different countries, including China proper.Information on why companies chose to locate in an area and how the leaders were prepared, was elicited. Some correlation was made as to how the Chinese BAM companies conduct their businesses compared to the international BAM movement.There was convergence between the two streams, and at the same time several distinct issues and opportunities emerged for the preparation of future Chinese workers. Among these are: solid teaching on the theology of work for both candidates and senders; the need for life-on- life discipleship training prior to going out; for those inexperienced in BAM or marketplace ministry, the recommendation for apprenticeship with an existing company prior to being deployed; and, the opportunity for Chinese BAM companies to capitalize on emerging green technologies.The findings from these interviews provides material that will be used by the writer, his agency, and partners, in the preparation of bi-vocational Kingdom Workers. The Scripture, literature, interviews, and surveys researched in this project were designed to discover transferrable suggestions that could focus all believers on the results of following the plans of God to build his kingdom using the process of disciple-making.The results of the project revealed that the key to building the kingdom of God is found in the practices and plans of the ultimate disciple-maker, Jesus.
