He then presented the historical narrative of the Christian \u0026 Missionary Alliance work in Guinea from 1918 to 2005. With 1.2 billion people who belong to 4,693 ethnic groups and speak more than 400 languages it still is home to the largest number of unreached people groups in the world. The greatest need that the Indian church faces in the 21st century is for large numbers of dedicated and well-trained servant-leaders to serve the existing congregations and to reach the remaining unreached people groups and languages with the gospel. It is widely recognized that the prevalent dominant paradigm of training has many weaknesses that are adversely affecting the health of the church. This study looks at the ministries of a modality and sodality (Christian Evangelistic Assemblies and Bharat Susamachar Samiti/New Theological College) that have been closely working together with some success for more than two decades in northern India to learn principles that might help to alleviate these weaknesses. At first we briefly look at the history of the church and theological education in India. Then we look at the way the modality and sodality have worked together. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself'' (Matt. 22:36-38).  This report explores the relationship of mission and stewardship. It is focused on the life of a particular congregation where increased involvement in hands-on mission has led to a deepened understanding of stewardship. Engaging in ministry with people who are hurting, grieving, lonely, poor, and oppressed, and working together for justice, peace, and reconciliation has directly affected how members of the community are faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to their care. Jesus also said, 'For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also' (Matt. 6:21). This research indicates that the inverse is also true. Participants took a mission trip to visit a rural church school in Haiti and were then interviewed about their experience. Family systems theory and the theology of service and relationships informed the project and the interpretation of the outcomes. New, lasting interpersonal bonds among the travelers were evident, as were strengthened ties to the sister institutions. There is no way of being human without participating in culture, for it is through culture that human community is created. This dissertation is a study of the work of 19th century missionaries into Chinland, Union of Burma. An evaluation of the data shows that these missionaries were not sensitive enough to the indigenous culture and tradition of the Chin.
