Upon arrival, he found that the congregation did not have any exposure or experience in mission. This case study will follow Sterling's journey as it utilized a seven-stage strategy: (1) finding the motive, (2) becoming grounded theologically and in faith, (3) gathering information, (4) initiating the process, (5) having effective communication, (6) official reporting, and (7) evaluation as needed. This missionary incentive is supported by the preaching ministry of the church.  Three types of sermons are suggested as best suited to support this missionary incentive, including mystagogical preaching, apologetic preaching and missional preaching.  The intended purpose is that listeners of such sermons will develop a stronger connection between their participation in the Table and what it means to be sent for mission and ministry in the world. Traits of the generations are discovered through literature review and field research, using the grounded theory method. Second, mission is described with eight viral factors that caused the spontaneous expansion of the early church. Third, the researcher created strategies to maximize the traits of the generations by reviewing which traits are leverageable or prohibitive related to the viral factors. Generational entelechies are discovered and generational cultures are defined to build a whole-church multi-generational missional culture. What begins as a major mission to reach the pre-Christian in a particular community will at some point begin to shift in focus. What was once directed outward has now turned inward. This process happens so gradually that the shift is not perceived by church leaders. If this inward-looking phase is allowed to continue, at some point disintegration will begin to take place. Some type of intervention needs to take place for a course correction. There needs to be a re-introduction of evangelism into the life and mission of the congregation. This project is an attempt to develop a strategy for effective disciple-making and leadership development in a college town church that has a very high turnover rate and a big potential to reach out to scholars from China. In a six month period ideas of the proposed approach were communicated to three groups of participants in multiple sessions of the groups' regular meetings to test the new model's effectiveness. By so doing he aims a proposing a new paradigm for mission policies. Focusing on the Korean Presbyterian Church, the primary objectives were : 1) to shed new light on the historical roots of world missions in the Korean church and weigh the biblical and theological basis of missions in the Korean church; 2) to compare various mission policies of denominational mission boards and agencies, then propose new policy directions; 3) to set the future task of the Korean missions as a 'peace mission' building a unified national church in preparation for the ultimate unification of the two Koreas; 4) to submit a new mission policy paradigm for the Korean church in the 21st century and prepare for shifts in world affairs. The significance of the book of Revelation, especially Revelation 12 and 13, is presented as the theme book for developing a strong biblical foundation. Based on her study, this researcher recommends a stronger integration of biblical theology and missiology in order to establish a biblical foundation for spiritual warfare. In addition, this research suggests a need of a leadership or mission conference for the development of leaders in cross-cultural contexts.
