Eight program activity units formed the core of the experience: group building, pre/post testing, journaling, sensory-intensifying experiences, group worship, quiet times alone, leader's teaching times, and participant teching/learning sessions.  Using a variety of assessment tools, the project confirmed that physical, emotional, spiritual, and social benefits (as the literature in this field had indicated) can be demonstrated following an intensive exposure to the outdoors."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Western Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["910240dd-6bfb-49cb-ab06-1b8de036aac8"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132442540638208,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:03:27.733Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:27:33Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T01:51:29Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"7c02d923-7792-47eb-9967-d0b7b15d5cad","accessControl_ssim":["61227caf-5423-4647-85b9-76303522bd02"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Toward congregational ecological activism"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T04:27:32Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:47:23Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["c8131f8a-622d-45ee-9e6f-85f4d79764bd"],"hasLease_ssim":["9e480dd3-c662-4c66-a0eb-7023ea310573"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Peter Bakken"],"year_tesim":["1995"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Jeffrey D Louden"],"publisher_tesim":["San Francisco Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Nature--Religious aspects--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Human activity puts the world at risk.  Christian theology which sees creation as something to exploit and use for humanity's sake also puts it at risk.  This dissertation seeks to define the theological arguments concerning the care of the Earth.  Members of the Sierra Club and three Lutheran congregations are polled about their beliefs concerning the environmental crisis, its origin and possible responses.  Chapter 3 presents a four-week action/reflection process about the Earth and the church. Christianity's incarnational character, the bodily Resurrection of the One in whom, by whom, and for whom everything was created, makes God, humans, and the material world inseparable.  As such, the Christian God is the first, true environmentalist.  In this understanding, theology must respond to environmental concerns. The relationship between ecology and theology was explored within a small Christian community, the place where the Living God can be experienced and where ecological disasters occur.  This analysis led to the development of a seven-session seminar designed to help ordinary Christians and Christian ministers in their effort to build a true communio between God, humans, and the rest of creation."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["0f245891-e4c1-47d9-842b-9aefbafae138"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791135276705251328,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:48:30.603Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Franciszek Kurzay","hits":1,"label":"Franciszek Kurzay"},{"value":"Gary K Fawver","hits":1,"label":"Gary K Fawver"},{"value":"Jeffrey D Louden","hits":1,"label":"Jeffrey D Louden"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Nature--Religious aspects--Christianity","hits":3,"label":"Nature--Religious aspects--Christianity"},{"value":"Camping","hits":1,"label":"Camping"},{"value":"Ecology","hits":1,"label":"Ecology"},{"value":"Outdoor life","hits":1,"label":"Outdoor life"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":3,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary"},{"value":"San Francisco Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"San Francisco Theological Seminary"},{"value":"Western Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Western Seminary"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":3,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"1995","hits":3,"label":"1995"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary"},{"value":"San Francisco Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"San Francisco Theological Seminary"},{"value":"Western Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Western Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary"},{"value":"San Francisco Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"San Francisco Theological Seminary"},{"value":"Western Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Western Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":3,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":3,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":true}}}
