The Bible uses many different motivations that at first glance may not feel Christ-centered to some. Some pastors ignore or even vilify motives such as the promise of rewards or the threat of consequences in the name of remaining Christ-centered. The content of this impact study was Dallas Willard's The divine conspiracy video series. Goals were measured by Likert scale pre- and post-tests. Participants came to understand the intended path for Christ followers to be an active apprenticeship to Jesus. Disciples, as practitioners, keep ongoing company with Jesus, in order to become like him in their inner person.
