Seeking to develop a structure that is consistent with shared theological and ethical beliefs in equality, justice, mutuality, diversity, and community, the group members aim to engage in the process, make decisions by consensus, accept diversity, accept rersponsibility for group participation and process, and to become more self-revealing. The power equity group model works for small groups whose members have interest in and energy for process and are capable of personal insight.
