to model pre-evangelistic conversations for parishioners using points of contact between the gospel and The Lord of the Rings. He wrote a guide to points of contact between The Lord of the Rings and the gospel, and sample segues into evangelistic conversation. More than 6000 ministers were invited by e-mail and over 100 actually participated. Pre-test and post-test surveys measured changes in pastoral attitudes and behavior.
