To that end, this these constructs a pastoral storytelling methodology and guidebook. The pastoral storytelling methodology is focused on pastoral care situations such as in-office counseling, hospital visitation, and in-home visitation. But the methodology is not limited to use in formal counseling situations. It is designed so that it can be used any time and place pastoral care is needed. An interpretive comparative qualitative case study method was used focusing on two well-regarded pastoral teams. The findings of this study showed a need for team leaders to have a clear understanding of the essential relational dynamics of teams, the irreducible complexity of those dynamics, and their biblical foundation from ecclesiology, trinitarian theology, and pneumatology. This project helps leaders to serve the Lord in faith and good courage while helping them avoid the spiritual dangers of serving self and the powers of darkness in meetings. The focus of this effort is on the moments following alarm or the awareness of stress that is being generated by one's heart. The researcher trained the five men and nine women of the Parish Planning Council on three theological foci: a theology of thinking in crisis, a theology of worship in service, and a theology of leadership in suffering. Each of these monthly sessions was reinforced by a weekly Bible study and a monthly opportunity for a one-on-one meeting where applications of the Alarm Model were made to current issues. The research methodology was a qualitative study of two ministers in the Presbyterian Church in Canada, one a recent graduate and the other a recent immigrant. Therefore, Weinhold created a 'Healthy Boundaries' curriculum including a participant's manual for churches. Utilizing an evaluative research design, a one day workshop was offered to 12 lay persons and pastors. The workshop progressed from personal to pastoral to legal boundaries. Data analysis employed the spiral steps of qualitative research authored by Leedy and Ormord (2005). As well, an archival research into the effects and challenges facing caregivers and their families added to his insights. From the heartrending anguish to the tender consolation resident in God's grace, the author reveals how the adjustments and acceptance of the challenges initiated a transformation that inadvertently provided consolation and inspiration to
