Over the 8 weeks of the course students were exposed to biblical teachings on divorce and remarriage and how these teachings tend to be organized into biblical positions. While students were not compelled to embrace a particular position, they were encouraged to draw definite conclusions based upon teachings. A combination of quantitative and qualitative field research was conducted to achieve the goals of this project. Through this project I will answer the following questions: What are some theological perspectives on emotional health?  What do medical studies say about the effects of human emotions on health and well-being?  How do the seminar messages help the hearers of the Word enhance and promote emotional health after the messages are taught? The method of study includes biblical exegesis, literary research on medical findings, interview, survey, and workshops. The overall research goal was to heighten an understanding of the person and work of the Holy Spirit and motivate participants to minister in the power of the Spirit specifically healing. The study consisted of a packet of two books by revivalist Randy Clark given to participants with a pre and post read questionnaire. The results showed a trend toward a high self evaluation of the theology of the Holy Spirit but in actual praxis, very low numeric values in terms of quantifiable praxis. This openness has to be encouraged because of the withdrawal, isolation, silence, and anger they may face during their hospital in-patient experience. These behaviors and dynamics are frequently present and noticeable in their dying/death events. The end of a patient's life gives a chaplain the opportunity to provide pastoral care. This ministry geared toward Hispanics allows them to the the recipients of spiritual healing. The author combined series of sermons with small group activity for death preparatory education. With the sermons on the theme of good death, the study utilized the death preparatory theory of Alfons Deeken as contents of small group programs. The author designed the program for the elderly church members and conducted with class meetings. Ten congregational projects were designed specifically for this church that involved updating and altering the physical plant. These projects would require the commitment of the congregation in time, money, and labor. The ten congregational projects ran concurrently to produce a new attitude among the people as atakeholders in their church. Using focus groups and theological reflection, the project explores these connections while using Matthew's boat stories to illustrate characteristics of engaged ministry. The project tested that in making these connections, a congregation became more aware of the stories of the 'other' by connecting with the stories of people, enabling a willingness to become more involved with engaged ministry. This paper's primary question is: from the perspective of the congregation has this co-pastoral approach to professional ministry been successful in attaining the goals and objectives intended when co-pastors were called to serve the congregation? This work examines the biblical and theological foundations of the professional relationship as well as the initial objectives of the congregation in developing this approach to pastoral leadership.
