This study was conducted utilizing that qualitative research methodology of the ethnographic interview. Dyadic Adjustment Scale, and the Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory provided scales to measure marital interaction processes and marital satisfaction. The objective of this study was to understand the experiences of those couples in long-term remarriages and the demonstrations of satisfaction as related to marriage relationship. The project was expanded to include campus ministries within annual conferences adjacent to the state of Iowa. The research was conducted by means of survey of student participants in campus ministry and personal interview with directors of campus ministry. The results of the research show that campus ministry lacks directions and connection with annual conferences and the local church. Highlighted is the urgency of why intervention is necessary through the utilization of case studies. Throughout the project, field notes were collected.  At the conclusion of camp, follow-up interviews were held re-addressing the pre-camp interviews to quantify strengths and weaknesses for the campers, custodial parents and volunteers. The researcher used biblical principles from Romans 14-16 to address the root problems of judging and despising. Through research on discipleship training and the Me Generation and personal testimonies from my own congregation, this dissertation concludes that the Me Generation especially needs life coaches, mentors who walk with them, teach by example, and guide them as role models.
