The project enlists participants in experimental and control groups, administering a self-analysis that reveals the understanding and recognition of gifts. Members of the experimental group begin their training with the Myers-Briggs Personality Inventory to help them grasp unique aspects of their personalities, and then work through seven sessions studying the biblical basis for spiritual gifts in order to understand how God may have equipped them to serve in the church.
